Epoxy Floor Coating Prices

The price per m² of an epoxy floor cannot be given as a single figure: the same system can double in cost depending on the condition of the slab and the size of the area. Below you will find current ranges by system, a calculator that estimates for your own area, and what actually sets the price.

What Sets the Price

  • System type and thickness — epoxy paint is the cheapest, mortar the most expensive. Material and labour rise linearly with thickness.
  • Surface preparation — grinding, crack repair, removal of old coatings and a moisture barrier can add 80–500 TL per m². It is the single largest source of price variation.
  • Area size — below 50 m² fixed costs are not spread, so the price per m² rises by up to 35%; above 2,000 m² it falls by up to 15%.
  • Extras — slip-resistant additive, conductive layer, antibacterial additive, UV-stable top coat and line marking.
  • Colour, pattern and detailing — multi-colour work, decorative effects, skirtings and coving all extend the labour time.
  • Location and working conditions — out-of-town work, out-of-hours or night shifts, and how long the space must be closed.

Frequently Asked Questions About Price

How much does epoxy flooring cost per m²?

In the 2026 Turkish market it ranges from 350 to 2,800 TL/m² depending on the system: epoxy paint 350–750 TL, self-leveling 750–1,600 TL, textured 1,100–2,200 TL and epoxy mortar 1,600–2,800 TL/m². Materials and labour are included, VAT is not.

What raises the price the most?

Surface preparation. On sound concrete it costs 80–180 TL per m²; on a slab needing crack repair, removal of an old coating and a moisture barrier it can reach 500 TL/m². The second biggest factor is a small area.

Why is the price per m² higher on small areas?

The crew, equipment transport, machine set-up and material packaging are fixed costs regardless of area. On a 40 m² job they are divided across few square metres; on a 1,000 m² job the same cost per m² becomes almost invisible.

Is the survey and quotation chargeable?

No. The survey, the assessment of the slab (including moisture measurement) and the written quotation are free.

Do these prices include VAT?

No. All ranges in the table exclude VAT and include materials plus labour.

Which is the cheapest epoxy solution?

Epoxy paint (coating) at 350–750 TL/m² is the lowest-cost system. But as a 0.3–0.6 mm thin film its life is 5–8 years and it is not suited to heavy traffic. Measured as annual cost per m² over the life of the floor, self-leveling or textured systems are usually more economical.
